Keynote @ RSS 2025: Semantic Digital Twins for Robust and Flexible Robot Behavior
I gave a keynote at the 2nd Workshop on Semantic Reasoning and Goal Understanding in Robotics (SemRob) at the Robotics: Science and Systems conference in Los Angeles.
The talk argues that semantic digital twins give robots a representation of their environment that supports both robust low-level control and flexible high-level reasoning, and that this combination is what lets robot behavior generalize to environments the robot was not programmed for.
